[A note to the gentle reader: the manuals are generally up-to-date for version 1.1.5 of LYX (including any 1.1.5fix... versions). Version 1.1.6, however, changed many of the user interface features, most visibly the pulldown menu selections. We have begun the task up updating all the documentation for this new layout; however, we are sure that there are many places where the old instructions remain. For example, Go To Error used to be in the Edit menu; it is now located in the Navigate menu. Please bear this is mind as you read through the documentation and wonder why things aren't working as they should. -- mer]
